This structure was built in 1808. The Nathaniel Russell House is known to be one of America's most important neo-classical homes. Beautiful ornamental plasterwork and colorful gardens make it an enjoyable stop for all sightseer's. A winding staircase and incredible color schemes are what set this structure apart many other sites. A major restoration went under way in 1999, this tedious work brought back much of the intricate detail which makes this home so special. My tour guide also brought a lot to the experience. She had a warm smile, and was also very knowledgeable about this federal-style townhouse. Bring your camera and capture the graceful gardens', and it's energy.
